The concept of the “Magic India” collection is based on inspiration from the Indian jewelry patterns and Mehndi or Henna. These motifs are used in celebrations and ceremonies to decorate the bodies of young women as part of social ceremonies. The main ceremony in which patterns are used is marriage and is a way of expressing the feelings, beliefs and religion of the Indians as well as a way of blessing for the prospective couple. The basic element that we see in the print collection is the peacock, which is considered a national symbol (bird) of India and symbolizes the companionship that someone shares with a loved one. Additionally there are also other symbolisms in the collection which is a challenge to discover them!
